Loving and Caring - will be the only thing that distinguishes humans from machines

A great artocle pisted by my friend Sharesz T Wilkinson on Linked In about Noah and Ben

When Noah was born, doctors told his young father, Ben, who had Down syndrome, that he wouldn’t be able to raise a child.

That he wouldn’t understand feeding schedules.

That he wouldn’t know how to comfort a crying baby.

That he wouldn’t be enough.

But Ben didn’t listen.

He held his newborn close, kissed his forehead, and whispered,

“I may not know everything… but I know how to love you.”

And love him he did.

Ben fed him with shaking hands, learned lullabies by humming, and rocked him every night until the sun rose. He worked part-time folding napkins at a local diner - saving every penny for Noah’s future.

There were stares. Whispers.

Other parents asked, “Is he… the father?”

Ben would just smile and nod proudly.

“He’s my son. My best friend.”

Noah grew. Ben aged.

Years passed like pages in a quiet book.

Noah became a man. Strong, kind, successful. People would say,

“You turned out so well.”

He’d reply,

“Because I was raised by someone who only saw the world with love.”

As Ben got older, his memory began to fade. He’d forget where he put things. Then names. Then Noah’s.

And one day, he looked into Noah’s eyes and asked,

“Are you my friend?”

Noah held his hand and whispered,

“I’m your boy. The one you raised. The one you gave everything to.”

Now, Noah feeds him. Helps him walk. Hums lullabies when Ben can’t sleep.

He’s not just caring for his father.

He’s repaying the man who raised him… twice.

And when they take pictures now, Noah smiles wide.

Because the world sees an old man with Down syndrome and his adult son.

But he sees his hero.

His teacher.

His heart.

—> In a world obsessed with profit maximization and polished looks, his story teaches how to be human(e).

Ignorance is the biggest danger of all. ⚠️

Exclusion IS ignorance.

A shut-down mind, frozen in fear from what is different from itself.

Free yourself from the cage and learn how to see with your being.

“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Remember how to be human(e). ❤️

—> It will soonest be the only thing that distinguishes us from machines.

How to Harden Your human Firewall against Cybersecurity

In Australia, a cybercrime is reported every six minutes according to the Australian Signals Directorate. Nearly 47% of Australian internet users experienced some form of cybercrime in 2024, from online abuse to identity crime and malware.

For organisations, the costs to recover can put them in serious financial strife. Cyber incidents can bleed an organisation from tens of thousands of dollars to millions, with email compromise and online banking fraud hitting the hardest.

How can you guard against Cyber incidents?

3 quick wins to action today:

- Turn on multi-factor authentication across critical systems.

Vale 2 humans

To build #ai models and achieve digital transformation , you need the foundations to be solid …. These 2 insights , in my view, go a long way to create that foundation !

“You don’t live once. You live every day, and you die once. None of us know when that day will come.” – Bobby Darin

“If you want a stronger country, start by being a stronger neighbour. Treat others the way you want to be treated—respect, dignity, and honesty. That principle builds families, communities, and nations.” – Charlie Kirk

A Philosophy to Live By

• Take nothing for granted.

• Chase the dreams that stir your soul and take action to Pursue them

and most of all

• Treat people, animals, and the world with the respect you’d hope for in return—everything else is commentary.

So who was Bobby Darin

Bobby Darin wasn’t just a singer—he was a fighter. Born in 1936 in the Bronx, with a weak heart, doctors said he wouldn’t make it past 16. Instead, he went on to fill the world with unforgettable music, squeezing a lifetime of achievement into just 37 years.

His life began with struggle and secrets. His mother, only 16 when she had him, let her own mother raise him as her son. Bobby grew up believing his mother was his sister. Out of challenge and uncertainty, he built resilience, artistry, and a legacy that still echoes today.

Darin’s story reminds us that life isn’t measured by its length but by its intensity, passion, and impact.

Why Charlie Kirk’s Story Inspires

Charlie Kirk founded Turning Point USA at just 18, driven by the belief that one voice can make a difference. From college campuses to national platforms, he challenged young people to engage, debate, and think critically about the future.

At the heart of his message is a timeless truth: our strength doesn’t come from tearing others down, but from lifting each other up.This create strong communities, and strong communities build a nation worth passing on.

So what’s my gem 💎 from these 2 humans

Dream, take action and treat people and things around you like you would like to be treated !

Power Walking takes on a new meaning

Each step you take could power the future.

Imagine walking through your city , one and every step you take generates electricity. Thanks to kinetic energy technology, a single step can light a bulb for up to 20 seconds.

Envision this implemented across your train stations, sidewalks, and sports stadiums. With millions of footsteps every day, we could:

  • Power lights and sensors
  • Reduce strain on Tokyo's energy grid
  • Transform human movement into a renewable energy source

Japan is experimenting with piezoelectric floor tiles in high-traffic spots like Shibuya and Tokyo Stations, where thousands of people pass through every day. This stepping technology is something I would love to see implemented in Australia!

This isn't science fiction. It's actually where behavioral science meets smart infrastructure. Every step becomes a step toward sustainability.

Could Tokyo lead the way as a global model for kinetic-powered cities? What do you think about this technology? What obstacles and concerns? What are pros and cons?
